Are you a tech head you loves augmented reality games, and also happen to be an avid snowboarder and/or skier?

Well, your wildest dreams literally just came true.

Though you wouldn't peg Israelis for winter sports enthusiasts (though they do get to experience winter once and a while), a Tel Aviv-based company has come up with the world's first-ever augmented reality goggles for winter sport athletes.

The company, RideOn, has already raised $95,000 on an Indiegogo campaign that was aimed at raising $75,000 by March 21st. If you'd like to contribute, click here.

“Imagine riding through a virtual slalom track that only you can see, or chasing a shadow of your favorite ski athlete down the mountain," the company boasts on its Indiegogo page. "Compete against yourself and friends for time and skill.”

According to RideOn, the goggles have "a see-through display that projects AR layers and features on the snow as if they’re floating 15 feet in front of you."

"Thanks to a method we invented," they continue, "RideOn Goggles allow you to interact with the floating UI using only your sight. No external devices, phone apps, or voice activation. To use, simply look at icons fixed to the sky, your friends, or points of interest. This way, your hands stay gloved and warm, and your cellphones and maps stay securely in your pockets (actually you won’t ever need a map)."

Now that they've fulfilled their initial goal, RideOn will be able to manufacture the goggles in different colors, and even allow you to control music on your phone using RideOn's hands-free UI.

Pretty, pretty cool.

RideOn also offers some other neat features, allowing you to connect with your friends, see their locations, call or message them, or even "throw a virtual snowball to piss them off." You can also RideOn's high-definition camera to take videos of your adventures!
