Joan Rivers “Has the Energy” for 50 Cent
50 Cent seems to have an affinity for women of the E! network, starting with a brief tryst with Chelsea Handler, and now moving on to the legendary Joan Rivers.
In the new extended commercial for 50’s “Street King”, the rapper is featured passing out Street King energy shots to people at a gym. Joan Rivers shows up and takes one of the energy shots, giving her a boost for her work out and leading her to proclaim “I got the energy for you 5-0.”
50 Cent launched the Street King initiative in August 2011, with the goal to feed one billion children. Every time a Street King energy shot is purchased, 50 Cent will donate a meal to a youth in need.
In early January, 50 Cent signed a deal with Honickman Group, an independent bottler, in order to expand the energy shots’ availability and reach. Since January, the energy shots have been available nationwide in stores such as GNC and 7-Eleven.
