Mark Zuckerberg & Wife Make Unexpected Cameo in Chinese Doc
When documentarians finally release their film, they pray audiences will enjoy it, share it, and in these modern times, spread the word on social networking sites. Well, in the case of CCTV’s new documentary following Chinese police officers and high-tech crime-solving methods, their wishes came true as viewers immediately took to Twitter, Facebook, and blogs to discuss. To their dismay however, audiences were not sharing their love for the films content, but instead the unexpected shot of Mark Zuckerberg and now-wife Priscilla Chan walking behind two police officers.
While filming the documentary, CCTV accidentally caught a few seconds of footage featuring the Facebook founder walking on the busy streets of Shanghai.
The footage, included in a short clip posted online by the Hebei province satellite station, clearly shows Zuckerberg and Chan wearing the same clothes they were photographed in during a March 27th visit to Shanghai. Zuckerberg is wearing his standard uniform, jeans and a hoodie.
In the very brief moment they are seen on camera, Zuckerberg is glancing at the police officers walking in front of him with a huge smile on his face. The documentary’s narrator says, “There is a serious shortage in China’s police manpower.”
Although Facebook is banned in China, Zuckerberg has vacationed there quite a few times. In previous visits, he has met with high-tech entrepreneurs, most notably Robin Li, CEO of Baidu.
