Italy’s Mario Balotelli Expecting First Child

Balotelli is wiping away his tears of sadness over Italy’s loss to Spain during the Eurocup this past weekend to welcome the joyous tears of an expectant father.

Actually, Balotelli received the good news before the final game was played on Sunday. The Italy striker’s ex-girlfriend, model Raffaella Fico, informed him that she was pregnant just before the semi-final match against Germany.

“I called the day before the game against Germany and I said, I’m expecting a baby, it’s your baby,” Fico told Sport Mediaset.

Fico and Balotelli ended their relationship in April after accusations of adultery. Fico did not discover the news of her pregnancy until May, and decided not to tell anyone besides her mother and brother.

Fico now claims that the pair has decided to rebuild their failed relationship. She knows that he loves her, especially after an attempted proposal back in December.

Unfortunately, the footballer was accused of meeting with former escort Jennifer Thompson after the couple got engaged.

When Fico gave Balotelli the news of their baby, he said “You gave me the best news of the world.”
