Drake Plans to Attend Howard University? [VIDEO]
The Young Money rapper wants to pursue a post-secondary education
Just a few days after announcing his graduation from high school, and referring to it as “one of the greatest feelings” of his life, Drake has shared an interest in pursuing a post-secondary education.
On Friday, Drake was introduced as a surprise guest during a 2 Chainz performance as part of Howard University’s Yardfest.
Drake came out on stage to an enthusiastic crowd, wearing a bright red Howard sweatshirt. Drake shares his recent high school graduation with the college students, and wonders aloud whether or not he would get accepted to Washington D.C’s HBCU campus.
“About two days ago I made a decision. For like the last four months, I went back to high school and I graduated high school the other day. O, you see what my campaign is about this year because I went right to the bookstore,” he said pointing at the Howard sweatshirt. “I’m trying to come to school with you all.”
