Mac Miller Releases New EP as Alter Ego ‘Larry Lovestein’
Lovestein’s album ‘You’ shows Miller’s romantic side
While fans wait patiently for the release of Mac Miller’s sophomore album, ‘Watching Movies With The Sound Off’ and his collaboration with Pharrell, ‘Pink Slime,’ the rapper has released a surprise EP using his new alter ego, Larry Lovestein.
Lovestein’s EP entitled ‘You’ has a completely different feel than Miller’s music. ‘You’ is jazz-inspired, and speaks to Miller’s romantic side, wanting to spread the message of love.
According to Miller, Larry Lovestein and his band, The Velvet Revival, have the simple goal of wanting to put love back in the world.
“Fuckin @sweetlarrylove just wants to put love back into the world,” Mac Miller tweeted at his alter ego.
‘You’ is available for free to download at www.thevelvetrevival.com.
