Hugh Hefner Marries “Runaway Bride” Crystal Harris on New Year’s Eve
The couple with a 60-year age difference finally tied the knot
Playboy’s Hugh Hefner and former Playmate, Crystal Harris, got married on New Year’s Eve in a small ceremony at the Playboy mansion surrounded by close family and friends.
As you may remember, Harris essentially abandoned Hefner at the alter in June 2011, breaking off their wedding just days before they were planned to wed. The 26-year old went on to publicly humiliate him, claiming they only had sex once and it lasted “seconds”. She also shared that she wasn’t attracted to him at all.
For reasons we cannot understand, however, Harris moved back into the Playboy mansion in May 2012 and the couple soon reconciled, re-announcing their engagement shortly afterwards.
On New Year’s Eve Day, Harris tweeted, “Today is the day I become Mrs. Hugh Hefner. Feeling very happy, lucky, and blessed.”
Hefner has obviously forgiven Harris and forgotten the past. He looks forward to his marriage with Harris, and recently said that he wants to be with her until the day he dies.
“The dramatic age difference between difference & Crystal & me really doesn't matter. Whatever time I have left, we want to spend together,” Hefner tweeted.
After the ceremony, Hugh tweeted “Crystal & I married on New Year’s Eve in the Mansion with Keith as my Best Man. Love that girl!”
