Bob Dylan to Replace Beyoncé as Super Bowl Halftime Performer?
Did Beyoncé drop out of the Super Bowl after her inauguration lip synch scandal?
71-year old folk musician, Bob Dylan, has replaced Beyoncé at last minute after the embarrassing Presidential lip-synch scandal… according to Tim Heidecker.
Heidecker, former Rolling Stone editor and star of ‘Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!’, has released a song entitled ‘Bob Dylan’s Super Bowl Song- Running Out The Clock’ . Apparently, after Beyoncé’s lip-synch embarrassment, the organizers of Super Bowl XLVII and sponsor Pepsi decided the only cure for the problem was hiring the legendary and eccentric Dylan.
After Heidecker posted ‘Running Out The Clock’ on YouTube, listing it as a new single dropped right after the announcement that Dylan replaced Beyoncé, a few news sources chose to publish stories about the scandal as fact… without fact-checking of course.
So, ladies and gents, Dylan is not replacing Beyoncé. He also didn’t have an unreleased football-themed song from 1983 just lying around, but that doesn’t mean it’s not worth a listen.
In other news, Beyoncé has promised not to lip-synch at the Super Bowl.
