At this year’s CinemaCon, Hailee Steinfeld is being presented with the Female Star of Tomorrow Award.

The Academy-award nominated ‘True Grit’ actress can next be seen in science fiction film ‘Ender’s Game’. Based on Orson Scott Card’s novel of the same name, ‘Ender’s Game’ takes place in the near future when a hostile alien race has attacked Earth. In order to protect themselves and protect the human race, the best and brightest young children are being trained at Battle School.

Steinfeld plays Petra Arkanian, one of the few female students at Battle School. She becomes an older sister of sorts to the film’s title character, Ender (played by Asa Butterfield).

"Having already garnered an Oscar nomination, not to mention international acclaim for her big screen debut in True Grit, Hailee Steinfeld will continue to show audiences this coming year just how amazing a young actress she is with five new films set to hit theaters," CinemaCon managing director Mitch Neuhauser stated in an official press release.

Butterfield will join Steinfeld at CinemaCon to receive an award of his own: CinemaCon Rising Star of 2013.

"With a stunning turn in the title role of Hugo, Butterfield has already proven himself as one to watch in Hollywood," continued Neuhauser.

CinemaCon takes place at The Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas from April 15th to 18th.
