Engaging in philanthropic work gives one a sense of wellbeing for selflessly aiding one’s fellow humanity. In the latest Funny or Die video, Dave Krumholtz tells Seth Rogen in jest, that because of his philanthropic work with the Hilarity For Charity fund benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association, essentially he can go rogue.

“Now you don’t have to do anything good for the rest of your life,” Krumholtz jokes.

“That’s a good point,” Rogen responds.

With the seed being planted, Rogen engages in a year of depravity and debauchery, sleeping with prostitutes, cooking meth with Bryan Cranston, playing Russian roulette with Max Greenfield, and repeatedly shooting Dave Krumholtz. It’s all in good fun, however, to spotlight the Hilarity for Charity event on April 25, 2013.

“After being actively involved in the Alzheimer's community for the past several years, Seth Rogen and Lauren Miller (along with some amazing friends) created Hilarity for Charity: an awesome, one-of-a-kind, and most importantly, hilarious event to raise money and awareness for Alzheimer’s among a younger generation. Seth and Lauren recently established the Hilarity for Charity Fund as part of the National Alzheimer’s Association, through which monies raised will be directed to help families struggling with Alzheimer’s care, increase support groups nationwide, and fund cutting edge research,” explains the charity’s website.

Rogen will host the “house party” Hilarity for Charity event this year at Avalon in Hollywood, CA. For more info, or to donate visit www.hilarityforcharity.org.
