James Deen Wants You to Watch Porn to Support Free Speech

James DeenOur favorite Jewish porn star and ‘Teen Mom’ Farrah Abraham latest sex tape partner, James Deen, has joined forces with HotMovies.com for ‘FreedomStreams’ Tax Day Benefit.
HotMovies.com, a popular online adult streaming service, has organized an innovative fundraiser called ‘FreedomStreams’ being held on U.S Tax Day- April 15th- in support of the adult industry trade association Free Speech Coalition (FSC).
Deen joins over 100 adult production studios/principals who have volunteered all of their earnings on April 15th to FSC, while HotMovies.com has promised to match the first $10,000 in contributions. Deen intends to donate all earnings from his Video-on-Demand website, www.JamesDeenVOD.com.
"I am proud to support this industry, especially in a creative way like this," Deen says.
"I encourage everybody to check out the movies on HotMovies.com and my VOD site this Monday, and support Free Speech Coalition.”
FSC works tirelessly to protect First Amendment rights on behalf of the adult entertainment industry. HotMovies.com ‘FreedomStreams’ event ran successfully from 2006-2009, raising thousands of dollars for the organization. The recent passage of Measure B in Los Angeles County and the introduction of the similar AB 332 in the California legislature motivated the website to revive the event.
“We are elated to bring this important event back to life. Our goal is to raise twenty grand, and we are pleased to have James Deen on board to help us reach that goal,” said HotMovies Director of Business Development James Cybert.
“Now is the time to do it, as our industry is entrenched in a crucial fight. We need the FSC on the front lines more than ever.”
Measure B imposes the use of condoms on all pornographic film sets in Los Angeles County. The measure recently passed with a majority vote of 57%. Notable porn stars James Deen, Ron Jeremy, Jessica Drake, Tera Patrick, and Steven St. Croix, as well as the Los Angeles Times and Los Angeles Daily News are in opposition to Measure B.
