The Internet loves pretending that Adam Sandler is dead. Over the past year alone, more than 3 Sandler death hoaxes (two of which were from snowboarding accidents) spread like wildfire, with fans internationally writing tributes and expressing their sadness and sympathies via Twitter. Well, thankfully, the ‘Grown Ups 2’ star has not passed, but he certainly believed he was going to.

During an interview with David Letterman, Sandler shared a video from a recent trip to Africa.

“They were very nice people at this place. They let me in with the cheetah… and said I could feed the cheetah water with my hands, so I did it, and it went a little bit wrong,” he explained while setting up the video.

"My friends that watched it, they were like ‘Man you were a bad ass’, you were pretty cool. I had a stiff neck at the time, so when he jumped on me, I was like ‘Oh my neck’.

“All I was going to do was let him eat me. There was not one part of me that was going to fight back. I was like, so this is how I’m dying. That’s great."
