When Marat Kogut became an official referee for the NBA, he probably never imagined being front and center on a massive billboard in New York City’s Times Square. But he’s not promoting the basketball league like players LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Amar’e Stoudemire, Kevin Durant, and others have in the past. Instead, he’s part of a new campaign for Jewish dating site, JDate.com.

The advertisement features Kogut and his now-wife Mariana on their wedding date, him wearing a black and white tuxedo while she wears a traditional (and gorgeous) white wedding dress. A caption right underneath their smiling faces reads “We would have never met each other if not for JDate.”

The Jewish couple got married in September 2012 after initially meeting on the popular website. Mazel Tov!
