Gene Simmons Insists Michael Jackson Was a Child Molester
The KISS rocker “stands by his words” during Twitter spat with Jackson fan
Just three years after Simmons originally accused Jackson of being a child molester infamously announcing “Where there’s smoke there’s fire… There is no question in my mind he molested those kids. Not a doubt”, the KISS rocker is at it again, insisting that his words are accurate.
On July 18th, a fan group supporting Wade Robson, the dancer who has filed a child sex abuse case against Michael Jackson’s estate, reached out to Simmons asking for help.
“@genesimmons Gene I am fighting for a man who claims to have been abused by Michael Jackson, Wade Robson I need your help,” Wade Robson Allys wrote.
Before Simmons had a chance to respond, one of Jackson’s fans wrote “Gene Simmonds never even met much less knew ML- what are you bothering him for?!!!”
On July 26th, Simmons piped in, addressing both the Jackson fan and Wade Robson Allys, writing “In 80s, I went out w/Diana Ross, we visited Michael Jackson. You don’t know me. Don’t make up things about me.”
“If you don’t want things made up about you, stop accusing Michael Jackson of being a “pedophile” as you did!!,” retorted the Jackson fan.
Simmons responded angrily, writing “FACT, He paid a family $22million to settle one case. FACT, He paid $3.5 mil to another family. I stand by my words.”
Jackson’s fan responded one final time, saying “’FACTS’ according to the National enquirer, TMZ; “The Sun”; “Daily Mirror”; “Daily Mail”=tabloids!”
KISS was supposed to play a Michael Jackson tribute concert in 2011, but was released from the line-up after a number of complaints from Jackson fans.
Jackson was acquitted of all charges in both cases Simmons referenced.
