Kosher Poker: New Yorkers Looking For Jewish Card Players
Are you looking for some “crazy” action with a group of Jewish professionals?
Poker, a card game with beginnings reported back to the 1820’s, remains more popular than ever, especially with the advent of online gambling.
There are several different styles of poker, international tournaments, and even television events, making the classic card game a spectator sport. With the unprecedented growing popularity of poker, does it come as any surprise that various groups within society are seeking like-minded individuals to join their poker nights.
Enter Kosher Poker.
A group of New Yorkers is looking for Jews to join their regular poker games. In a New York Craigslist community posting with the title “Are You Jewish? Do You Love to Play Poker? Join Us (Kosher Poker)”, a collection of “business owners and professionals” are seeking a few more players.
“We are Jewish and we play poker,” begins the posting.
“We are looking to add a few more players to our game. Our game consists of business owners and professionals. If you would like to join our game please send me an email.”
Not only will you indulge in some healthy gambling, there is also a promise for kosher delectable’s and “crazy” action.
“The action is crazy and we order kosher food every evening we play.”
