Seth MacFarlane’s ‘Ted 2’ Gets Summer 2015 Release Date

Universal Pictures has confirmed that Seth MacFarlane’s dark comedy ‘Ted’ will get a sequel, scheduled for a summer 2015 release.
Although critics were torn with the 2012 feature film directorial debut from ‘Family Guy’ creator, Seth MacFarlane, audiences absolutely loved the quick-witted, crude, and ostentatious teddy bear and his best friend John Bennett, played by Mark Wahlberg.
After raking in $550 million worldwide at the box office, MacFarlane and Universal decided to create a sequel, and are planning to release it on the same summer weekend as the original, June 26, 2015.
MacFarlane will be returning as the writer, director and voice of titular character, Ted, and Wahlberg will reprise his role as John. Mila Kunis has not confirmed whether or not she will return as John’s girlfriend/wife, Lori.
Details of the plot for ‘Ted 2’ have not been released as of yet. Stay tuned!
