Penn Jillette, one half of the famous magic duo ‘Penn and Teller’, has cashed in on a few celebrity favors for his current project, a new film entitled ‘Director’s Cut’

In September, Jillette launched a crowdfunding page for the thriller that he wrote, produced, and also plans to star in as an obsessed psycho-fan stalking a young actress.

In the promo video featured on his FundAnything.com page, Jillette asks fans to “help him realize my dream of being the creepiest bad guy you’ve ever seen.”

With 17 to go, he has currently raised $615, 435 of his $999,972 goal. In order to ensure he gets all the funds required to complete his film, he has added a series of celebrity videos as part of a promo campaign called “Penn is a BAD guy.”

Joan Rivers, Ben Stiller, and David Copperfield submitted video testimonials to prove how awful Jillette really is. According to the video, Rivers claims that Jillette badmouths his long-time partner behind his back, Stiller gushes about how incredible he is until discovering that he’s supposed to be talking about Penn Jillette and not Sean Penn, and Copperfield uses an Encyclopedia to back up his claims.
