Lenny Kravitz is an incredibly busy and influential man these days. Beyond his decades-long rock music career, he currently stars in ‘The Hunger Games’ franchise (with ‘Catching Fire’ hitting theatres in just a couple weeks), designed the set for Queen Latifah’s new talk show, and has now announced a collaboration with California retailer, Fred Segel… the brand’s first collaboration in 50 years.
According to WWD, Kravitz will design a 10-item collection entitled Fred Segel X Kravitz Design. It will feature unisex clothing, fashion and travel accessories, ranging from $100 to smaller items to $100,000.
Yes, that’s right. $100,000! You’re probably wondering what item of clothing sold in a store could possibly cost a tenth of a million dollars, right? Well, you’ll be happy to know it’s not a piece of clothing at all. Kravitz is exclusively designing a custom-made motorcycle for Fred Segel, as part of his fashion line.
“I grew up shopping at Fred Segel and have always felt connected to the brand and what it stands for – a vibe of laid-back luxury that resonates far beyond Los Angeles,” Kravitz told WWD.
The Fred Segel X Kravitz Design line will start rolling out in the second quarter of 2014.
