In one of the more bizarre moments (which there have been plenty) in the on-going Theatre of the Absurd production that is the embattled Rob Ford, according to a report, the once equally embattled Charlie Sheen called for Toronto’s mayor to resign. The article appeared on satirical website, The Daily Current, and spread like wildfire throughout the Internet as a legitimate story. In response, Sheen took to Twitter via TwitLonger to dispel the article. Below is Sheen’s unedited message.
dear Mayor Rob Ford,
the only truth or correct reporting in today's
repulsive story regarding
my alleged comments about you,
is the accurate spelling of your great city.
your personal life is and never would be,
any of my business.
I'm sorry for any grief this may have caused.
if I can be of any assistance
in any capacity in this
media cesspool,
please accept the noble offer of my steady
hand and compassionate heart.
respectfully,
charlie sheen.
Sheen appeared in Scary MoVie and Machete Kills in 2013. Likewise, season 2 of his Anger Management can been seen on FX.
