According to Global News, actor and film-maker Joseph Gordon-Levitt will be in Canada this summer working on a new 3D feature film called The Walk.

The Walk is set to feature the 33-year old Don Jon actor in the role of Philippe Petit, a French high wire artist known for his daring and unauthorized high-wire crossing between New York’s Twin Towers in 1974.

Seeing how Gordon-Levitt fares with heights will definitely be a sight to see in theatres. Watching ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ star as he tackles a tightrope thousands of feet in the sky in 3D will be equally exciting and terrifying. We can’t wait!

The Walk, also referred to as To Walk the Clouds, will be headed by Back to the Future and Forrest Gump director Robert Zemecks. Filming is scheduled to take place in the beautiful city of Montreal starting this May and well into July.
