Rock star and ‘Hunger Games’ actor, Lenny Kravitz, is proud to announce his latest artistic project… hardwood floors.

In 2003, Kravitz launched Kravitz Design, a residential and commercial design company that allows him to pursue his love of architecture and interior design. Over the last 10 years, he has achieved success with this venture, having designed the set of Queen Latifah’s talk show and collaborating with Philippe Stark’s Madmoiselle chair.

On Monday, Kravitz shared details on his latest design project alongside North American wood flooring manufacturer BR-111. The duo have joined forces to create a line of wide-plank, European, oak flooring.

According to a press release, the floor coverings will “feature rich tones ranging from golden browns to slate gray and black, flowing grains and a Bona Naturale matte finish.”

“The new flooring line will feature eight colors ranging from light, natural Chambord Oak to Charcoal Black Oak. the selections are available worldwide in ultra-wide 10” planks with a 3/4” profile,” writes woodworkingnetwork.com

Kravitz previously designed a collection of ceramic tiles with Lea Ceramiche.

The Kravitz Design line of hardwood flooring is available on the BR-111 website here.
