Chelsea Handler to Moderate ‘Orange Is The New Black’ Event

The late night comedian will host a panel discussion in Los Angeles

‘Chelsea Lately’ host and ‘Uganda Be Kidding Me’ author, Chelsea Handler, will be moderating an ‘Orange Is The New Black’ event for Netflix on Monday, August 4th in Los Angeles.

Taking place at the Directors Guild of America, the screening is in support of ‘Orange Is The New Black’s’ Emmy nominations. It is a ‘For Your Consideration Academy Screening Event’ that will be followed by a no-holds-barred panel discussion hosted by Handler.

Handler will be joined by series creator, executive producer and showrunner, Jenji Kohan, as well as several cast members including Taylor Schilling (Piper), Kate Mulgrew (Red), Jason Biggs (Larry), Uzo Aduba (Crazy Eyes), Laverne Cox (Sophia), Natasha Lyonne (Nicky), and Lea DeLaria (Big Boo).

‘Orange Is The New Black’ was nominated for 12 awards at the upcoming Emmy Awards including Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for Schilling, Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for Mulgrew, Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for Lyonne, Aduba, and Cox, Outstanding Directing For a Comedy Series for Jodie Foster, and many more.

Handler recently signed with Netflix after announcing her decision to leave E! Network.
