Jerry Seinfeld has finally joined the digital age. As his followers know, the comedian has been tweeting for quite some time, but as of Thursday, he officially has a Facebook and Instagram account as well.
Seinfeld will be posting from the ‘Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee’ accounts.
“In case you didn’t notice, I officially joined Facebook and Instagram this morning. We’ll still bring you all of the updates on ‘Comedians in Cars getting Coffee’, but as of today, this is my page, and anything can happen,” Seinfeld writes.
Crackle, the streaming service that produces ‘Comedians in Cars’, also launched a hilarious video to celebrate the occasion.
In the video posted below, Seinfeld is contacted by Crackle’s President with instructions to fly to Los Angeles immediately for a meeting. Upon arrival, we see Crackle’s head honcho (played by former ‘Seinfeld’ star, Michael Richards) explaining that Crackle is “dead” due to competitors Netflix and Hulu who he refers to as “Snap” and “Pop”.
Richards tells Seinfeld that he wants the two sites eliminated. Watch below.
