Since Amy Winehouse tragically passed away in 2011, her family has formed a Foundation in her honor and launched various initiatives to ensure the late singer is immortalized and remembered internationally, including the newly-uncovered bronze statue that features Winehouse wearing a Star of David necklace.

Winehouse’s brother, Alex, has aided in curating an exhibit that allows the ‘Back to Black’ singer’s fans to view a collection of her belongings and get a better grasp of her Jewish roots.

The exhibit entitled ‘Amy Winehouse: A Family Portrait’ originally launched last year at The Jewish Museum in London, England before touring in Vienna. It has now landed in Tel Aviv, Israel at the Beit-Hatfutsot: The Museum of the Jewish People.

The exhibit includes personal belongings that “celebrate her passion for music, fashion, sudoku, Snoopy, London and her family.”

“Amy was close to her family and had a strong sense of her Jewish roots and heritage. Among the various objects on display, the exhibition will show many unseen photographs of Amy’s family life - Friday night dinners, Alex’s Barmitzvah and vintage photographs of their beloved grandmother Cynthia,” the museum’s website describes.
