Miles Teller to Star in ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ Director’s Next Film
Teller is in talks to star in Marc Webb’s ‘The Only Living Boy in New York’.

Miles Teller is the rising star to watch in 2015. With ‘Whiplash’ receiving incredible reviews in theatres right now, the upcoming ‘Fantastic Four’ reboot, and the ‘Divergent’ sequel ‘Insurgent’ currently in production, it’s a wonder Teller has a moment to add yet another project to his overflowing plate… but he has. Teller is in talks to star in Marc Webb’s ‘The Only Living Boy in New York’.
According to a Variety exclusive, ‘The Only Living Boy in New York “tells the tale of a young man who learns that his overbearing father is having an affair. The son tries to stop it, but ends up becoming involved with the woman as well.”
Webb originally put the indie flick on hold to complete ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ franchise. ‘The Only Living Boy in New York’ will be Webb’s first non ‘Spider-Man’ feature since ‘(500) Days of Summer’.
