Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed’s daughter, Sophie Tweed-Simmons, has launched a clothing line that hopes to empower young women who are often described by the fashion industry as “plus size.”

Tweed-Simons- a model, philanthropist and entrepreneur- explains to Yahoo that she has “never been a skinny girl, I’ve always been athletic and curvy and strong.” But she’s very proud of her figure and is hoping her new collection will help to eliminate the shame experienced by many young girls who can’t fit into many designer outfits.

“The cuts of the pieces are all flattering. All the waistbands are elastic, which I prefer. Essentially, the collection is based around my butt,” she explained.

The 18 piece collection offered by the Style Club is affordably priced between $25 and $115, with all pieces named after powerful and influential women.

Not only is Tweed-Simmons proud of her figure, she also condemns airbrushing and Photoshop enhancing. After the first round of photos for the clothing line’s new ad campaign were sent over to her, she realized that her legs looked “too good” and insisted they be changed back to their original form.
