"My mother is calling."
"Oh, just call her back."
"I can't, she'll think I'm dead."
Sound familiar? Well, for many of us with inordinately morbid Jewish mothers, BuzzFeed's latest in a long list of Jewish stereotype-endorsing videos comes in the form of "11 Things Jewish Friends Just Get," or "Signs Your Friend Is A Chosen One," pairing two discernibly Jewish millenials alongside two "goys" (what's a goy? You).
The video, like its predecessors, pokes fun at words us members of the tribe often use like JAP, which found one of the goys cringing in embarrassment (pretty funny, most of my non-Jewish friends didn't know what a Jewish American Princess was either), or what exactly is Manischewitz. When one of the tribe members lusts after a non-Jew, she notes that if "he votes democrat and has a job" her kids will be Jewish anyway.
The whole explanation of why you can't name babies after living relatives is pretty jokes too - I wouldn't call it harsh, after all you guys have Hell.
