Pharrell Williams Most Likely Coming to Israel
The singer/songwriter is in talks to perform in Tel Aviv on September 9th

You'd think Pharrell would have been quicker to make a trip to Israel, after he showcased an Israeli-produced video of his hit song "Happy" at an United Nations event last March.
But better late than never.
According to Ynet, the hit singer/songwriter - who you young ones may know for songs like "Happy" and his collaborations with Daft Punk but real fans will recall his early anthems with N.E.R.D., collabs with Jay-Z and the Clipse, and production work with the Neptunes - is in talks with several Israeli producers, and is likely to perform on September 9th at Tel Aviv's famed Yarkon Park (also stylized as Park HaYarkon).
While a contract has yet to be signed, the deal seems pretty much confirmed.
Pharrell joins a long list of superstars who have played Israel, including Art Garfunkel - who performed earlier this week. Bon Jovi is set to perform in October, and apparently even Maroon 5 has been showing interest.
