Besides being an actress, wife, mother, supermodel, and Wonder Woman, Gal Gadot is also a prominent veteran from the Israel Defense Forces.

In a recent interview with Fashion Magazine, Gadot speaks about doing it all – a life, a family and a career. As an Israeli icon, she is scheduled to be featured on the cover of the August issue of Fashion Magazine.

In the interview, Gadot explains that military life was not difficult for her, and in fact, prepared her for the world of Hollywood. Gal’s weapon expertise even impressed Justin Lin, the director of the Fast & Furious series, which landed her the role as Gisele Yashar.

In the three films she appeared in, Gadot performed all of her own stunts as Gisele Yashar – a core character in the saga.

Gadot is currently preparing for her new Wonder Woman film, Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, which is scheduled to be released in 2017.

“Never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d grow up to be in a movie playing someone who influenced as many women as she has,” Gadot said.

In Israel, citizens are required to conscript if they are 18 years of age, except if they are married or have certain health exemptions. Bar Refaeli, an Israeli model, is known for openly dodging the Israeli military requirements by marrying a good friend of hers.

“I don’t regret not enlisting, because it paid off big time,” explained Refaeli. “That’s just the way it is: celebrities have other needs. I hope my case has influenced the army.”

Gadot is also a supermodel, an actress in the Hollywood thriller, Criminal, and the face of the new Gucci fragrance.
