Gilad Shalit Attends the NBA All-Star Game in Orlando
Gilad Shalit, the IDF solider who was released from captivity in October after spending 5 years in a Gaza prison, attended the NBA All-Star weekend in Orlando as part of his vacation in the United States.
Shalit, who is vacationing with a friend in the U.S., was given tickets to all three events from NBA agent Arn Tellem.
The events included the BBVA Rising Stars Challenge on Friday evening, the Foot Locker 3 Point Contest and the Sprite Slam Dunk Contest on Saturday evening and the 2012 NBA All-Star Game on Sunday evening.
On February 8th, Shalit went on his first overseas trip since his release, meeting with French Prime Minister Nicolas Sarkozy in Paris. This is his second overseas trip.
