A few weeks ago, reports began circulating about a new 'game' that sees teenagers punching innocent Jewish pedestrians on the street as they walk by in an attempt to knock them over.

The revolting and utterly racist 'knockout' game has been taking place in certain parts of Brooklyn, with all of the victims reportedly being Jewish.

Now, the 'game' seems to be making its way to other cities; Huffington Post reports that such occurrences have been taking place in an many as six states across the U.S., with teens punching other victims to knock them over, but not to steal their possessions.

The latest victim is a 78-year-old Brooklyn grandmother.

In an interview with CBS 2, the daughter of the victim said her mother was walking around during the middle of the day in the Midwood section of Brooklyn, when a young African-American male purposely knocked into her.

She added that the male was not trying to steal anything from her.

“She had her purse, she had bags from department stores. There was not even an attempt to take anything from her. It was just a wanton act to hurt another human being,” she said.

New reports indicate that New York police are looking at the string of events as hate crimes. There is a $1,000 reward for any information that can lead to the arrest of anyone involved with the crime.

The 78-year-old woman is the eighth Jewish victim of the disturbing 'knockout game'.
