Israeli Jails Cut National Geographic for High-Security Prisoners
Apparently, watching 'Breakout' isn't great for morale

Israel’s Channel 10 News reported Monday that Palestinian security prisoners at a high-security lockup in Armageddon (Megiddo Junction) have been cut of their National Geographic Television.
You may wonder be wondering why the dramatic nature footage and detailed educational television channel would be forbidden, but, if you're a fan of National Geographic, you'll know the channel also includes various segments that give detailed tips of prison escapes and jail breaking ideas.
Right now, the channel plays a wide-ranging televised “college of the airwaves” that offers, in no particular order, America’s Hardest Prison, Black Dolphin Prison, Inside: Russia’s Toughest Prison, World’s Toughest Prison and Prison Nation, Lockdown.
Apparently, National Geographic also features the show, Breakout, which recounts the most dramatic prison breaks in history and describes how the prisoners escaped and how law enforcement recaptured them.
As problematic as these shows may be, the fact that these prisoners are receiving the National Geographic channel is even more baffling since it is normally a specialty channel that you have to order separately.
