Israeli Man Sees Bag of Cash Fall out of Brinks Truck, Rushes to Return It
And the award for biggest mitzvah of the year goes to............

I know I've used this saying before, but I honestly mean it this time: what a mensch!
According to news site 0404, Yarden Ben Ezra, a 24-year-old Israeli man, was driving home from his job as a manager of an events hall in Kiryat Ata, near Haifa, when he pulled up beside a heavily-armored Brinks truck at a traffic light in a deserted area.
As the light turned green, the Brinks truck made a right, but not before Ben Ezra noticed that the back doors had swung open, and a bag had fallen out onto the street.
Intrigued, Ben Ezra pulled over and examined the bag, upon which he found NIS 400,000 (roughly $107,000) in cash.
Now, I know what you're thinking. Having that kind of cash could be life-altering, and Ben Ezra wouldn't technically be "stealing it."
But it wouldn't be kosher, either.
Feeling as if "he was in a movie," Ben Ezra grabbed the bag and jumped back into his car, racing after the Brinks truck and honking his horn at them.
Finally, he got the guards driving the truck to stop, and he returned the bag.
A representative from Brinks later thanked Ben Ezra, who not only demonstrated his selflessness but also one of the most wonderful mitzvahs we've heard about in a very long time.
And he's only 24!
Honestly, what a mensch.
