Our favourite Israeli basketball player, Omri Casspi - sorry Gal Mekel - was just signed on for two more years in Sacramento for $6 million.

Casspi confirmed that he will be remaining in Sacramento via Twitter.

I'm all in . #SacramentoProud

Casspi plays well on the floor, shot 40 percent from three last season and is popular with his teammates. Last season, he played for more than 20 minutes a night, and scored 8.9 points a game in the ones where he played.

Fans can look forward to seeing Casspi play next season in Sacramento.
