‘Seinfeld’ fans have been praying for a reunion since the show’s season finale over a decade ago. While their appetites were temporarily whetted in 2009 during a brief story line on ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ centering on a fictional ‘Seinfeld’ reunion, it’s best for die-hard fans not to hold their breath.
However, during an interview for his Hollywood Reporter magazine cover shoot, Seinfeld shared some insight on where he anticipates Jerry, Kramer, George, and Elaine would be today.
“They’re gonna be somewhat dysfunctional, as we remember them,” Seinfeld began.
“I imagine there’ll be some kids. Some divorces. Social situations, is what I’d imagine for the four of them. George would probably have a wife and kids — very normal, suburban. And he would be tortured.”
Seinfeld is featured on one of two special Emmy’s-edition Hollywood Reporter covers, set to hit newsstands on Wednesday.
