According to a new lawsuit, Canada’s own Justin Bieber must be much tougher than he looks, as a former Israeli bodyguard of the teen sensation is suing “Biebs” for assault.

The lawsuit claims that the former Israeli soldier, Moshe Benabou, was beaten and berated by the diminutive Stratford, Ontario native after a disagreement between the two men.

According to Benabou — who claims he worked for the singer from March 2011 to Oct. 2012 — Bieber punched him in the chest several times during a disagreement about a member of Bieber’s entourage.

Benabou is seeking unspecified damages for assault and battery — and more than $420,000 in unpaid overtime.

According to celebrity website TMZ, Benabou is a “disgruntled employee looking for money.” They say the claim that Bieber struck him is “absurd.”

TMZ also claims that Benabou was fired by Bieber for telling a number of lies including one that he had worked closely with Justin Timberlake before being hired by Bieber. In reality, he never worked with Timberlake.
