‘I Wish I Was Here’ co-stars, Kate Hudson and Zach Braff, recently appeared on Josh Horowitz’s ‘After Hours’.
During the interview segment, Horowitz got the actors to participate in ‘The Jew-Off’ to discover who was the Ultimate Jew.
Braff and Hudson were more than happy to compete in the Jewish trivia game, with Braff claiming “I’ll win this, she just is blood Jew-ier,” referring to Hudson’s mother, Goldie Hawn, being a Jew.
The game began with Horowitz asking Braff which of the following celebrities did not come from Jewish heritage: Drake, Daniel Radcliffe, or Elijah Wood. Many would assume that with a name like Elijah that the ‘Lord of the Rings’ star would be a member of the tribe, but he is not, and Braff got the answer correct.
Hudson was tested on her Jewish celebrity knowledge, asked to choose which of the following actresses was not Jewish: Mila Kunis, Elizabeth Banks, or Jennifer Aniston. Hudson also passed with flying colors, answering Aniston.
The questions got slightly more challenging, with Braff stumbling on the spelling of Mayim Bialik’s name and Hudson having difficulty defining “shmear”.
