Kim Jong Un Is Not Impressed By James Franco and Seth Rogen’s New Film

Best friends and frequent co-stars, Seth Rogen and James Franco, are set to release another film this October entitled ‘The Interview’. In it, the pair play a talk show host and producer who are sent to North Korea for a rare interview with Kim Jong Un, the country’s leader. While there, the CIA intervenes, asking them to take this opportunity to assassinate him.

Although fans of Rogen and Franco are excited for the film’s release, one person (Correction: one country), is not impressed.

The executive director of The Centre for North Korea-US Peace and unofficial spokesperson for the regime in Pyongyang, Kim Myong-chol told The Telegraph that “a film about the assassination of a foreign leader mirrors what the UD has done in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and Ukraine,” adding “And let us not forget who killed Kennedy – Americans.”

“In fact, President Obama should be careful in case the US military wants to kill him as well,” he added, without explanation.

Kim Jong Un is said to be a huge massive of Hollywood films, especially big blockbusters like James Bond and Rambo. Myong-chol told The Telegraph that his leader will most likely watch ‘The Interview’, which inspired Rogen to tweet a photo of him and Franco from the film, with the caption, “Apparently Kim Jong Un plans on watch #TheInterview. I hope he likes it!!.”

Myong-chol concluded his interview with The Telegraph stating that Hollywood cinema has become disappointing, adding that he far prefer British flicks.

“James Bond is a good character and those films are much more enjoyable.”

Now we wait with baited breath for Kim Jong Un’s review of Franco and Rogen’s comedy.
