If you were wondering how much Kim Kardashian and Kanye West spent on their recent trip to Israel, the answer is roughly $1 million USD. The couple, along with their unfortunately named daughter, North West, as well as Kim’s sister Khloe, took top of the line jets, had the best protection money could buy, and rented out a presidential suite while there.

According to a report by the Algemeiner, the Kardashian-West entourage consisted of roughly 25 people, all traveling with them from the States. These included photographers, makeup artists, hair and wardrobe stylists, more photographers, a security team, not to mention personal assistants. The fees for the entourage alone is estimated to be $200,000.

When they arrived at Ben Gurion, the couple was met by the VIP service’s company called Leopard, who were in charge of making sure the trip and the couple’s arrival ran smoothly. They then left the airport in armored EE911 cars and had also hired a top of the line Israeli security firm to ensure they’d be safe during their visit. This is said to be an additional $300,000.

The couple then made their way to the “David Citadel” Hotel in Jerusalem, where they’d booked the presidential suite that goes for almost $8,000 a night. They also paid for their entourage to stay close to them at the hotel, running up another $85,000 in expenses.

Other expenses included dinner with Nir Barkat, the Mayor of Jerusalem, at the non-kosher restaurant “Monah.” The tab was said to have run them $800 for that one meal alone. They also doled out $40,000 to Sharon Shavit, who’d planned their visit for months and had kept it a secret from the media. Their flight home, which took place on a private jet booked through Air France, was an additional $30,000.

Although the couple is said to have greatly enjoyed their trip, Kim can’t be pleased that she dished out almost $1 million and was then blurred from and cut out of photographs that were being published on a ultra-Orthodox website, or simply referred to as “West’s wife.”
