There have been some pretty alarming pictures of celebrities in the past, but Lena Dunham definitely takes the cake this time around. The Girls actress recently posted an image of her bleeding derriere on Twitter.

“My dog bit me on the ass and Jemima Kirk captured the image of a life time #hopelessromantic #therewillbeblood” Dunham tweeted alongside the image.

She afterwards posted a picture of Lamby, rolled onto his back and looking adorable as ever, with the tweet, “Now he’s acting like he never nipped me on the behind. We will call @iamjustinsilver tomorrow and sort this.”

The actress revealed some time last year that she her rescue pup Lamby was put on Prozac after struggling to settle in. They must still be having issues if Lena is posting her pictures of her wrecked bum on Twitter.

Lamby was rescued by Duhnam last January (2013) from the BARC shelter in Brooklyn January. Despite the fact that her boyfriend Jack was allergic to dogs, Duhnam went ahead and rescued the dog, fulfilling her childhood fantasying of owning one.

“I imagine how much better everything would be with a dog. Walks to get the paper or a bagel,” she told the New Yorker last year, “I promise everyone I won’t’ do it. I tell my boyfriend, ‘we have our whole lives for dogs.’ Then, one morning, I sneak off to another rescue group in industrial Brooklyn and I take him home.”
