Light Up the Season with this Chameleon Lamp
Innovative lamp adapts to its surroundings
With the holiday season upon us, it seems everyone is out looking for the perfect and most innovative gift. So if you are looking for something cheerful and bright, we have got just the thing for you: meet Huey, an adorable and ultra-cool Chameleon Lamp, which "magically" changes its color according to the surroundings. What better gift can one ask for Hanukkah, the festival of lights?
Huey can change its color to any color you can dream of, just like that 80's song by British band Culture Club which goes "loving would be easy if your colors were like my dream", oh yes, you know it, the Karma Chameleon song. But, while it shines so gracefully, it does not produce enough light for reading, but the reptile lamp would make a great kids bedroom's night light or perhaps a great toy to mess around with.
How does it work? Well, using an optical sensor, which recognizes colors and some LED lights, Huey glows in the same color as whatever is underneath him, just like a true chameleon who adapts to his environment. Huey can also cycle through the whole color range, in case you can't find a specific color you desire. Moreover, squeezing the little big-eyed lizard will make Huey freeze on the current glowing color.
Just imagine this little guy going crazy over all of the different and colourful candles (not burning of course). For only $30 this awesome holidays' gift is yours. Finally, have a happy and safe Hanukkah.
