Jeanne Beker Hosts Her Annual Charity Fashion Sale Tonight

The sixth “Jeanne Beker and Friends Open Their Hearts and Closets” benefitting Gilda’s Club will take place 6 p.m. at 24 Cecil Street in downtown Toronto. The event is open to the public.

The charity sale features fashionable pieces (clothing, shoes, accessories) for bargain prices.

Some of the items include donations from top Canadian designers David Dixon, Joeffer Caoc, Pink Tartan, NADA and Andy The-anh. Others have been worn by celebrities such as Degrassi’s Annie Clark and a slew of CTV personalities, not to mention Beker herself. Pieces from Beker’s new clothing line EDIT will also be available.

“We have something for everyone,” Beker said on Canada AM. “It’s politically correct to recycle and put these things out into the world again.”

All proceeds from the sale go to Gilda’s Club, an organization providing services such as support groups, workshops, and social activities for cancer patients. Beker is a longtime supporter of the charity.
