A day after Facebook goes public, its CEO marries his longtime girlfriend Priscilla Chan
Facebook Founder and CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, got married to his girlfriend Priscilla Chan in a surprise ceremony at his home in Palo Alto, California on Saturday.
A day after Zuckerberg officially became a billionaire after his company went public in one of the most anticipate public offerings of all time, he placed a ring on the finger of his girlfriend of nine years who he had met while attending Harvard.
Guests of the wedding, which included around 100 friends and family members, thought they were attending a celebration in honor of Chan’s medical school graduation, but were instead surprised by a simple, but emotional wedding.
More surprising than the wedding is that Zuckerberg actually put on a suit and tie and did not get married in his trademark hoddie which has caused so much controversy this past week.
