Anti-Muslim Filmmaker Faked Persona and Lied to Media
A mysterious cloud surrounds the so called filmmaker Sam Bacile who produced the anti-Muslm movie, the Innocence of Muslims, sparking riots in Libya and Egypt. The resulting fury ended in the deaths of four Americans, including the US ambassador Chris Stevens.

Reports are emerging that Sam Bacile was most likely a pseudonym for a Californian resident and ardent anti-Muslim fanatic who intentionally provoked the Arab world.

The Associated Press had interviewed him over the phone where he identified himself as Sam Bacile, a real estate developer and an Israeli Jew. However, Steve Klein, a consultant on the film and Christian activist, confirmed that Bacile was a fake name and that he was not Israeli and most likely not even Jewish.

Israeli sources are also indicating that Bacile is not Israeli but possibly a member of the Egyptian Coptic Diaspora. However, a statement from the Coptic Orthodox Church diocese of Los Angeles explained they did not recognize the name either.

Bacile's name is also unrecognized by Hollywood insiders. Virtually no one in the industry has ever heard of him and he has no credits on any film or TV productions or any agents listed on the IMDb website.
