Prime Minister Netanyahu Stars in Pro-Romney TV ads
"It’s time for your close up, Mr. Prime Minister.”

It looks like Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu may have some unexpected influence over the results of the upcoming U.S. presidential campaign.

The prime minister is playing a prominent role in election ads funded by a group clearly in the corner of Republican nominee Mitt Romney.

In one ad, already online, portions of a speech delivered by Prime Minister Netanyahu earlier this month has the PM angrily questioning why the nuclear threat posed by Iran isn’t being stopped immediately, and why we must wait; clearly a shot at the Obama administration.

The ad, the brainchild of Secure America Now, is also being televised in those “swing states” with relatively large Jewish communities, including Florida, Nevada, Ohio and Pennsylvania, in the hopes of shocking Jewish voters to support Romney.
