Simon Cowell, Lauren Silverman to Have Jewish Wedding

According to a new report from the Daily Mail, X-Factor host Simon Cowell and his pregnant girlfriend Lauren Silverman are looking to have a Jewish wedding (once Cowell finally pops the question, that is).

The Mail reveals that a source close to the couple told Heat magazine that “Simon and Lauren have spoken very openly about marriage and he’s told pals he may even propose by the end of the year.”

The source also mentioned that Cowell “agreed they could be blessed by a rabbi and partake in Jewish traditions, including the bedecking ceremony. He’s even said he’ll have some Israeli dancing lessons for the party afterwards.”

The news comes just a week after Cowell reportedly donated $150,000 to the IDF at an event in Los Angeles, during which he apparently sang the theme to 'Mighty Morphin Power Rangers' with the show's creator, Haim Saban.

The Daily Mail adds that Cowell, whose paternal grandmother was Jewish, and Silverman will also have a Christian wedding ceremony near his mother's home in Sussex. Have to please everybody, I suppose.

Mazel tov to both Cowell and Silverman! Also, if you're looking to learn some real Israeli dancing for the wedding, Simon, we suggest you study up on this clip:
