Creative partners Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are returning to their hometown of Vancouver to shoot their upcoming comedy, ‘The Interview’.
Fresh off the success of apocalyptic comedy ‘This is the End’, co-directors Rogen and Goldberg will once again be joined by James Franco in their new feature about two journalists who attempt to assassinate the President of North Korea while interviewing him.
“It’s Kim Jong-un. Literally King Jong-un in the movie. We figured it’s North Korea, you might as well make it Kim Jong-un,” Rogen shared with E! News back in June.
Although portions of the film are set in North Korea, ‘The Interview’ will be shot almost entirely in Vancouver.
Principle photography is scheduled to begin on October 10th and plans to run until December 20th.
