With every episode Jimmy Fallon is constantly surprising his audiences and this week is no different. During Tuesday nights Ew! sketch, The Tonight Show dared to dress Neighbours costars Zac Efron and Seth Rogen up as teenage girls. The scary part is that, minus Seth Rogen’s beard, Rogen, Efron and Fallon pull off being adolescent girls a little too well.

As the host of Ew! Stacy Wallace, aka Jimmy Fallon, invites her “bestie” Allison Donnelly (Seth Rogen) to join her in her basement.

“My mom gave me her credit card so I stopped by Starbucks on the way here,” Seth Rogen lisps.

“Ew!” Fallon responds, before asking, “What did you get?”

“A venti soy cinnamomo dolce creme Frappuccino!” Seth squeals, later adding, “Ew! Of course!” when Fallon asks if he got whipped cream with it.

Things are only beginning with Seth and Jimmy, and it isn’t until Zac Efron makes an appearance as the girls’ other BFF, Brittany Anderson, that things start to get more interesting.

“I’m actually super excited right now because I just got this new phone and it has an amazing camera,” Efron tells Fallon and Rogen, looking suspiciously similar to ex-girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens, “It’s got, I think, like, eight megapixels—so it’s like perfect for selfies! I’ve been taking them all day!”

The group took that as their cue to take a round of selfies before discussing their new favourite song “Turned Down for What” and launching into an impromptu dance session. Followed by an interruption by Stacy’s stepdad, Gary (A. D. Miles), the girls go through an EW! lightning round involving cross, tomatoes, Gary Oldman and, surprise, surprise, James Franco!

The segment ends with all three girls getting a text message from James Franco himself and exclaiming, “EW!” in perfect unison.
