Top 50 Hottest Jewish Men of 2013 (10-1)

Welcome to Shalom Life’s 2nd annual JILF list. Over the past 5 days, we have embraced (not literally, unfortunately) the 50 most beautiful Jewish women in the world, but what about all the male Hebrew hotties? Let us celebrate them as well with another 5 days of Jewlicious beauties.

We understand that beauty is oft times indescribable, inexpressible, and ineffable, and always in the eye of the beholder. Some people focus entirely on physical attractiveness, while others delve a little deeper, finding attraction in intellect, talent, personality, and a certain “je ne sais quoi”. Therefore, selecting 50 men that perfectly encapsulate all that is considered beautiful (or handsome) might seem like a daunting challenge. Fortunately, there are countless Jewish men that fit the description, making it nearly impossible to narrow it down, but after a lot of consideration, we think we nailed it.

Allow us to present 2013’s Male JILF list,. First catch up on #50-41, #40-31, #30-21, and #20-11, then check out the Top 10 below.

#10- MAX SCHNEIDER

Age: 21

Hometown: New York, New York

Known for: Rags, How to Rock, Nothing Without Love LP

Why he’s a JILF: Max was born and raised in a Jewish home in Manhattan. A triple threat from a very young age, Max began performing at the age of 3, and nabbed an agent by the time he was 14. His professional career began in the Broadway musical 13. Immediately after the show closed, he landed guest starring roles on Law and Order: SVU and One Life to Live. In 2010, Max landed his first modeling gig ever with an impressive spread alongside Madonna for Dolce & Gabbana. Max is currently known the world-over by his loyal legion of “Schneidermonkeys” as Zander Robbins on Nickelodeon’s How to Rock. Additionally, Max has written songs for Shake it Up, How to Rock, and other pop artists. Look out for his LP Nothing to Love this summer and on TV with Crisis in the Fall.

#9- GREGG SULKIN

Age: 21

Hometown: London, United Kingdom

Known for: Wizards of Waverly Place, Avalon High, Pretty Little Liars

Why he’s a JILF: Born and raised in a Jewish London household, Gregg was lucky enough to have his Bar Mitzvah at Israel’s Western Wall. Sulkin made his acting debut in 2002 (at the age of 10) in ITV’s Doctor Zhivago mini-series co-starring Keira Knightley. Just a few years later, he landed the starring role of Bernie Reubens in Sixty Six, director Paul Weiland’s semi-autobiographical film following a Bar Mitzvah boy whose major celebration lands on the same day as the 1966 football World Cup Final. His big break overseas came when Disney Channel cast him in Pass the Plate as “Gregg from the UK”. Disney fans adored Sulkin, as did the network. What followed was numerous roles in both film and television including a recurring guest role on Selena Gomez’s Wizards of Waverly Place as Alex’s (Gomez) love interest, Mason, and a leading role in the Disney Channel Original film, Avalon High. Most recently, Sulkin appeared in Pretty Little Liars as Ezra Fitzgerald’s young brother, Wesley. Check him out next in the feature films Affluenza and 1990.

#8- ADAM LAMBERT

Age: 31

Hometown: Indianapolis, Indiana

Known for: American Idol, First Openly Gay Pop Artist to launch on a major label

Why he’s a JILF: Adam moved to California at a very young age, and was raised in his mother’s Jewish religion. His musical career began at the age of 9, performing in school plays and choirs. His passion for performing encouraged Adam to move to L.A instead of attending college, landing him his first job at the age of 19 on a cruise ship. Upon his return, he started landing roles in professional theatre productions including Hair, Brigadoon, and Wicked. Adam became an international success with American Idol. Although he didn’t win, Adam went on to become one of the most successful contestants in the shows history. Adam’s most recent album, Trespassing, was an international success. Look out for him next on Fox’s Glee and on stage fronting classic rock band Queen.

#7- DANIEL RADCLIFFE

Age: 24

Hometown: London, United Kingdom

Known for: Harry Potter series, The Woman in Black, Cripple of Inishmaan

Why he’s a JILF: Daniel was raised in London in a secular home to a Jewish mother and Protestant father. Daniel expressed an interest in acting from the age of 5, landing his first big role 5 years later in BBC’s David Copperfield. In 2000, Harry Potter’s producer asked Radcliffe to audition after seeing his performance in the aforementioned BBC miniseries. Since the contract required shooting all 7 films in Los Angeles, his parents didn’t want him to try out. After a lot of negotiations, Daniel was permitted to become Harry Potter. Now, over 10 years later, Harry/Daniel is all grown up starring in horror flick The Woman in Black and a few successful Broadway and West End shows. Look for Daniel in the upcoming, Kill Your Darlings, portraying beat poet Allen Ginsberg, as well as Horns and The F Word.

#6- ADAM BRODY

Age: 33

Hometown: San Diego, California

Known for: The O.C, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Jennifer’s Body, Cop Out, House of Lies

Why he’s a JILF: Adam was raised by Jewish parents in Carlsbad, California. He has joked that most of his childhood and teen years were spent doing poorly in school because he spent all of his time on the beach. After dropping out of community college, Adam moved to L.A to pursue acting, immediately hiring an acting coach and signing with a manager. After a year of auditioning, Adam landed the role of Barry Williams on Growing Up Brady. He continued to appear in small TV parts until landing his breakthrough role on The O.C as Seth Cohen. The O.C made Adam a teen idol and started the trend of “Sexy Geeks”. While The O.C was still on air, Adam appeared in several feature films including Mr. & Mrs. Smith and Thank You For Smoking. Adam recently guest starred on HBO’s House of Lies and is set to star in the upcoming films, Lovelace and Baggage Claim.
