Known around the world (and beyond) as Captain Kirk, legendary actor William Shatner has been touring the United States with his one man show entitled ‘Shatner’s World…We Just Live In It’ over the last couple years.
Featuring songs, jokes, and anecdotes from his beginnings as a classically-trained Shakespearean actor to becoming the cultural icon he is today, ‘Shatner’s World’ has been well-received by critics and fans alike.
On Thursday, Shatner’s show was screened across 700 select theatres across the United States for one night only with the help of Fathom Events.
“I talk about a great many things … I talk about love, I talk about comedy, I talk about hate,” Shatner told Fox411 about his show.
“I talk about motorcycles. I talk about horses. I talk about history. I talk about the shows that I’ve been in. I talk about singing. It goes on and yet I’ve been able to characterize it so that it evokes laughter or tears or both, or knowledge, or some appreciation of the variety of subjects. It’s a multimedia show and it should reach you on many levels.”
